I really like the idea of advertising, but there is something about it I don’t really like. I’m not sure what. I know there is tons of positions in advertising I could be a part of and I love that. Like I said before, I love thinking creatively and good and clever commercials would be so much fun to make.
I think this is what I want my emphasis to be. I really like the idea that I could form the face of an entire company. I love thinking creatively and making this work and maybe being a public relations rep. for Broadway would be amazing.
Visual communications looks awesome! I love the idea of taking pictures and editing them and turning them into art. You can use this major for a lot of things, or you could use it for a module. I really like this and want to look into it more.
Video production is pretty cool and would be a very interesting career path. There is so much you can do with it. As long as Youtube is around, I could be making quality videos and that would be great.
Journalism just isn’t for me. It is dangerous and has lots of pressure and I don’t think I like writing that much. I do like writing, but journalism is too intense for me. That being said, I do like the idea of journalism. It’s as if you’re a spy working undercover.
Okay, The Soapbox Agency looks like a really cool place to have my practicum, but so does the school’s newspaper. I’m conflicted. I guess I’ll just have to see how the rest of the semester goes.
First week of class, this is exciting. Let’s see how I like communications.
